Allogene Augmentate in der klinischen Anwendung

Zusammenfassung

Für den zahnärztlichen Chirurgen bleibt die Wahl des richtigen Knochenersatzmaterials (KEM) eine der entscheidenden Fragen in der täglichen Praxis. Nicht zuletzt determiniert diese die Einheilung des Augmentats und konsekutiv den Langzeiterfolg des Implantats. Hierfür steht eine große Auswahl an KEM zur Verfügung. Allogene Augmentate werden u. a. im Bereich der „socket preservation“, der Sinusbodenelevation und als „onlay graft“ sowohl als Block wie auch als partikuliertes Material eingesetzt. Die klinischen Anwendungsgebiete werden in diesem Artikel näher beleuchtet. Langzeitdaten über das Resorptionsverhalten allogener Knochenersatzmaterialien nach Augmentation fehlen bis dato vollständig. Vor dem Hintergrund, dass Spenderzellen in allogenem Material nachgewiesen werden konnten, bleibt die Antigenität allogener Materialien ungeklärt. Es wird die bakterielle und virale Komponente allogener Augmentate dargestellt. Aufgrund aktueller Forschungsdaten kann zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt kein Knochenersatzmaterial als generell überlegenes Augmentationsmedium deklariert werden.
