Zusammenfassung

Bruxismus ist in der Bevölkerung recht weit verbreitet und kann durchaus negative Auswirkungen auf den Langzeiterfolg prothetischer (implantatprothetischer) Restaurationen haben. Daher empfiehlt sich bei der umfangreichen prothetischen Versorgung von Patienten mit keramischen Verbundrestaurationen die Etablierung eines geeigneten Bruxismusscreenings. Hierbei nehmen elektronische Messverfahren zunehmenden Stellenwert ein. Anschließend können dann sowohl die geeignete Therapieform als auch das geeignete Material bzw. die geeignete Materialkombination individuell ausgewählt werden.
