Chronische posterolaterale Instabilität des Kniegelenks

Zusammenfassung

Der Begriff „posterolaterale Instabilität“ subsummiert eine große Variabilität verschiedener Pathologien. Diese reichen von der einfachen Rotationsinstabilität bis hin zur groben lateralen Aufklappbarkeit mit Hyperextension, dem sog. Varus-recurvatum-Knie. Hier ist es essenziell, zwischen den verschiedenen Pathologien zu unterscheiden, um vergleichbar zu sein. Um dies zu ermöglichen, bedarf es einheitlicher diagnostischer Schritte und darauf basierend einer Klassifikation, die es ermöglicht, eine stadiengerechte Therapieentscheidung zu fällen.
