Coccygodynie wird bis heute oft nicht ernst genommen und somit kaum behandelt. Häufig haben die Betroffenen bereits einen langen Leidensweg mit vielen Voruntersuchungen hinter sich, ohne je eine eindeutige Diagnose erhalten zu haben. Charakteristisch sind Schmerzen direkt über der Steißbeinspitze, vor allem beim Sitzen und Aufstehen. Halten die Beschwerden trotz konservativer Therapie an, sollte ein operativer Eingriff angestrebt werden. …
