Eigenschaften selbstkonditionierender Bondingsysteme

Zusammenfassung

Selbstkonditionierende Bondingsysteme sollen dem Zahnarzt zum einen Zeit sparen und zum anderen behilflich sein, Anwendungsfehler zu reduzieren. Bei der Applikation der Ein-Schritt-Systeme sollte auf eine ausreichende Menge an Adhäsiv sowie auf eine genügende Verdunstung des Lösungsmittels (meist Wasser) geachtet werden. Die Haftkraft am Schmelz von selbstkonditionierenden Bondingsystemen, wie auch von selbstadhäsiven Befestigungskompositen, ist nach wie vor der Schmelzätzung mit Phosphorsäure unterlegen, wohingegen bei der reinen Dentinhaftung die 2-Schritt-Self-Etch-Produkte als vorteilhafter einzustufen sind. Die neueren Universaladhäsive bieten hier eine gute Möglichkeit, die Vorteile aus der Schmelzätzung und dem Belassen der Schmierschicht am Dentin ohne Haftungsverluste zu vereinen. Trotz aller Vereinfachung der modernen Adhäsivsysteme ist und bleibt der Anwender die spielentscheidende Komponente für den dauerhaften Erfolg einer adhäsiven Restauration.
