We have read with great interest the paper by Das and Ravi which presented “an interesting case of vehicular runover where the intestinal coils have come out of the body at the ankle”. The authors describe “the plausible mechanism and the route through which the intestine could have traversed” and “assume the saphenous compartment provided the path of least resistance” [
1]. “The challenge in forensic autopsy lies in recreating the scene of an incident based on the autopsy findings” [
