13. Funktionelle Anatomie, allgemeine Pathologie und Mitbeteiligung der Milz bei Erkrankungen anderer Organe

Zusammenfassung

In diesem ersten von drei Kapiteln zur Pathologie der Milz erfolgt ein nach den pathologischen Befunden gegliederter Einblick in die Struktur und Funktion der Milz als Filter und immunologisches Überwachungsorgan des strömenden Blutes und der hieraus resultierenden Befunde. Nach einer allgemeinen Definition und Klassifikation der makroskopischen und mikroskopischen Alterationen werden die speziellen histopathologischen Befunde reaktiver Alterationen, deren Pathogenese und Differenzialdiagnose, gegliedert nach den funktionellen Kompartimenten des Organs, der weißen und roten Pulpa, dargestellt. Die Speicherung endogener und exogener Substrate aus der Blutzellmauserung bei immunologischen Erkrankungen und metabolischen Syndromen wird detailliert besprochen. Von großer Bedeutung sind die Alterationen auf dem Boden einer gestörten Durchblutung des Organs.
