Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel enthält eine äußerst breite und detaillierte Darstellung der speziellen Pathologie der Milz bei den unterschiedlichen Erregerbedingten Alterationen, wobei alle wichtigen Befunde auf dem Boden der lebenslangen Erfahrung des Erstautors mit ausgezeichneten Bilddokumenten versehen sind. Hierzu zählt auch eine genaue Diskussion und Zuordnung histiozytärer und granulomatöser Erkrankungen nach pathogenetischen Gesichtspunkten und die Darstellung seltener mykotischer, protozoaler und metazoaler Infektionen. Weiterhin werden die Organveränderungen bei definierten autoimmunologischen Syndromen und tumorartigen Lymphoproliferationen sowie entzündliche Pseudotumoren besprochen.
